The ALL Hub is happy to present a visual abstract summarizing rehabilitation needs associated with CAR T-cell therapies. There is currently a lack of literature focused on the rehabilitation needs of patients undergoing CAR T-cell therapy; however, rehabilitation strategies can be extrapolated from data on patients who have completed treatment for lymphoma and multiple melanoma and those who receive allogeneic HSCT. Patients frequently present functional and neurological deficits associated with their condition, which are often exasperated by CAR T-cell therapy. These patients can benefit from multifaceted rehabilitation strategies before, during, and after treatment, which can improve their quality of life and treatment outcomes.
